  1. Provide all newborns with colostrum milk during the first 6 hours of life to provide concentrated nutrtients and passive immunity to disease.
  2. Mix and feed according to package instructions.
  3. Feed regulary and in sufficient quanity.
  4. Wash bottle thoroughly after each use.
  5. Provide simple grain mix per day free choice when lambs and kids reach one week of age.
  6. Provide good quality roughage free choice when lambs reach three weeks of age.
  7. Provide fresh water at all time.
  8. Keep lambs and kids in well-ventilated, draft-free area.
  9. Use as a lamb and kid saver for starved out lambs and kids.
  10. A number of diseases can be passed on to kids when they drink raw goat milk, or colostrum.  All raw goat colostrum and milk should be heated to 135F for one hour before using.
